My role: Lead scenic artist

This set was a blast to paint, especially with the abundance of glitter-polyurethane mix Billy and I used to spatter the whole thing! The color palette was also incredibly fun to work with. The Corny Collins sign was free-handed by myself, referenced from a design provided by Billy. This was also the first time I was allowed to assist at designing. For “Welcome to the 60’s” I designed the background’s angular houses paint treatment. (My inspiration for the overall look and color was actually the jazzy, Saul Bass-inspired title sequence for “Monster’s Inc”.)
